PROVERBS 7!

This week i chose the verses were Proverbs 7:24-27 24:  Now then, my sons, listen to me;

   pay attention to what I say. Do not let your heart turn to her ways  or stray into her paths. Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. ²⁷ Her house is a highway to the grave,

   leading down to the chambers of death.
To me when the verses say "she" it makes me think of her as sin that we must not follow in sins path even though it may be tempting. We must try to avoid sin even though it may be very tempting. we must try to find out ways to see God in everything we do.

PROVERBS 6

The Proverb that I chose for this week is 6:30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry. To me I think it means it that people do not think that stealing is wrong if they are poor and do not have anything to eat. But if a rich man steals it they should be looked down a pun, because they do have enough money. This week i will try not to look at people like they are on different levels than me I will try to see everyone as a equal, and try not judging them.

Proverbs 4

This week I chose Proverbds 4:10  My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. I chose this becuase I think that if we choose God in out everyday lives we will have a good long life. I feel like people that listen to God and follow in his teachings are never worried about things as much because they know they are following the commandments, they seem happier. This week I will try and think before I do something and see if they are the right thing to do and to follow the commandments.

Proverbs 5

This week the verse I chose from Proverbs 5 is:Proverbs 5:7 “Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.”  Which to me means hearing alone is not enough: the advise must be acted upon, else it is useless.

This week I am going to try to listen to my parents and pay attention to what they want me to do and try to do things without them asking, and not talking back to them and do what they say right away.

Proverbs3

This week I chose Proverbs 3:5 "rust in the Lord with all you heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.:This verse means to me that we can trust God with anything, no matter what we are trying to handle. God will not give us something we could not handle, and that maybe even if we think we are doing the right thing all the time. That maybe we are wrobng and we should ask God to help us out on things. One thing that I will do this week to follow this passage is before I do something that I think may be right I will reflect and ask God, if what I'm am doing is right.

Proverbs 2

A verse that really stuck out to me in Proverbs 2 was 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom, from his mouth come knowledges and understanding. This verse means to me that God gives us wisdom and understanding he gives us teaching to listen to and to try and inprove our everyday lives. All we have to do is listen to them and try to think for ourselves what they mean to us as an individual. One thing that I will do this week to try and live out this verse isw when I go to Mass this Sunday I will try to really listen to the gospel and try to live the gospel out in my everyday actions.

Proverbs 1

A verse that most stuck out to me was Proverbs 1:8: My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. This verse to me means we should obey out parents, to listen to their rules. Do not question them when they tell us to do something. do as we are told. An action step that I will take is to start listening to my parenst more, and start paying more attention to them when they talk, taking them seriously when they talk to me.
