Proverbs 9!

This week the verse I chose was Proverbs 9:10-12 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One understands. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.
This verse means to me that we should have a fear in God so we can have a better understanding and so we can fully be capable of understanding of his wisdom and knowledge. I think that is says that we must work on being nice to other and then they in return will be nice to us. If we are mean to people, people won’t want to be nice to us and they will want to mean to us because we have been mean to them.
The 2 action steps I will take to this is first try to me nicer to people, and see if they are nice to me in return. I will try to work on this for the rest of the year. And the other thing I will try to do is try not to sass back to people and have smart remarks to everything people say.

Proverbs 8

This week I chose Proverbs 8:7-8 7 "My mouth speaks what is true,for my lips detest wickedness.8 All the words of my mouth are just;none of them is crooked or perverse."I chose this because all of Gods teachings are true and I can beleive them. I stands out to me becauase people always you don't always know if what they are saying is true and with Gods teaching I can beleive him because what he says is true. The first action step I will take is by listnening to the teachings a lot closer and second of follow up in his teachings by doing what they say because they are all right.

Feature Stories

I chose the link Horror House for my feature story. The story talks about the House that was used in the hit series " American Horror Stories" it talks about the how the mansion got it's name and how onnly one episode was actually taped in the mansion. The rest of the series was filmed inside an exact replica of the mansion.I think that this is a feature story because it shows a lot of backround and can tell us about something that has happende in history and I think that it caught my attwntion and made me want to read it.
